Draft pending legal review

Privacy policy of the Rased website

A draft describing what the website collects and what it does not. No legal adviser has reviewed it yet, so it is neither final nor binding.

Draft pending legal review: A structural text, not final

This draft was written from what the website really does, to be a structure for a licensed legal adviser to review. Its content and order may change before it is adopted, and it should not be relied on as a legal commitment by the company.

It changes whenever the text of this page changes, so it is clear which text was sent for review.

Scope of this policy

This draft describes what the public Rased website collects and what it does not.

It does not cover the data the platform processes once an organisation is activated (devices, alerts and logs). That is governed by the portal’s own terms (version v1-2026-10 at the time of writing this draft), and this draft does not reproduce them.

The platform operator may view organisations’ data for operations, support and security under clause 3 of the portal’s terms; a technical support session, however, is opened only with your approval.

Who is responsible

The party responsible for this website is DNR ENGINEERING WORKS.

What the website does not do

The website uses no trackers, no analytics, no advertising and no social-media buttons, and it loads no fonts, scripts or images from other sites. Your browser therefore sends no request to a third party because of the pages of this website.

The website has no account and no form that stores your data, and what you type into the AI assistant, if you use it, is described in the section “The AI assistant on the website” below. You contact us by email or by phone.

What the website keeps in your browser

The website sets no cookie except one, named rased_lang, and it is created only after you click the language switch yourself. It keeps your choice of language (Arabic or English) for one year, so that the website opens in your language when you visit its main address. Your browser sends it with your requests to this domain, and we read it only when the main address is opened.

The website also keeps two keys in your browser’s local storage: rased-lang (the language) and rased-theme (the light or dark theme). They never leave your browser, and the customer portal at the same address also reads the language key so that it opens in your language.

You can delete all of these at any time in your browser’s settings.

The visitor’s country

The partners page asks the website itself for your country. The website reads it from the connection information that the network intermediaries in front of it attach, when it is there. The website does not send your address to any outside service, does not keep your country with any request or question of yours, and uses it only to filter the list of partners on your screen and to suggest the dialect of the greeting in the AI assistant (you can change the dialect). Only the country code is counted, in a combined daily counter of questions with no identifier, as the next section explains.

If that information is not available you choose your country yourself, and your choice is not kept.

The AI assistant on the website Open point

If you use the AI assistant you type a question of at most 300 characters. It reaches our server and is then sent to a third-party artificial-intelligence provider, which words the answer from the website’s approved information. Do not type passwords or personal data into it.

Before it is sent, our server removes email addresses, telephone numbers and web addresses from the question and replaces the names of internal technologies with neutral wording. We never write the text of your question to a log.

We keep counters only: for each day, the number of questions by section, language, country code and outcome, with the number of tokens used, and with no text, no connection address and no identifier. Our AI service also records the number of tokens of each call, with no text.

Questions that the assistant could not answer are kept for 30 days and then deleted, cut to 120 characters after digits and email addresses are masked, with no connection address, no country and no identifier, so that we can improve the approved information.

To prevent abuse we limit the number of questions per visitor and for the whole website each day. A visitor is recognised by a value computed from the connection address with a daily salt that stays in the server’s memory only and changes every day, so the address itself is not kept.

The assistant’s answers may be inaccurate, so write to the Rased team to be sure.

Server and intermediary records Open point

Servers usually record technical details of every request, such as the connection address, the time, the page requested and the browser’s identification. This applies to our server and to the intermediaries in front of it (proxy servers and content-delivery networks).

The records of those intermediaries are outside our control. How long we keep our own server’s records, and how addresses in them are shortened, is an open point to be settled with the legal adviser.

Email and phone Open point

If you write to us by email we receive your address and the content of your message, and if you call us we learn your number. We use this only to reply to you and to consider your request, we do not sell it, and we do not add you to mailing lists. Email passes through the mail providers on both sides.

How long we keep correspondence is an open point to be settled with the legal adviser.

Your rights Open point

You can ask us what we keep of your correspondence, and ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to us.

The details and limits of these rights vary with the law of your country, and the legal review will set them.

Changes to this policy

We may change this policy. Every version carries a number, a date and a fingerprint of its content, shown at the top of the page. This draft is provisional until a final text is adopted after legal review.

Open points for the legal adviser

These questions are not settled, and the draft must not be taken as final until they are:

  • How the platform operator’s access to organisations’ data for operations, support and security (clause 3 of the portal’s terms) is worded in this policy, beside the customer’s approval of technical support sessions.
  • How long our server’s records are kept and how connection addresses in them are shortened, and what we know about the records of the front intermediaries.
  • How long email and phone correspondence is kept, and the basis for processing it.
  • The rights guaranteed by the law of each country, and how we respond to them.
  • Confirming the wording about the visitor’s country (“we do not send your address to an outside service and we do not keep your country with any request or question, and we count questions daily by country code with no identifier”) after looking at the intermediaries’ records.
  • The wording of the disclosure about the AI assistant: the question is sent to an outside third-party provider of an AI service, how long unanswered questions are kept (30 days), and the basis for processing them.
  • Confirming that the only cookie, an explicit language choice, needs no consent banner in the countries from which the website is visited.
  • Whether the privacy page is indexed by search engines once adopted (today it is not indexed).
